Events Assistant Manager

We are looking for well-rounded enthusiastic individual to plan and oversee our events, one of which is our annual Sharjah Entrepreneurship Festival. As the project manager of our biggest events, your job is to plan resources, manage budget, oversee and document all aspects of each event assigned to you and regularly communicating status to manager to ensure the scope and direction of each project is on schedule & is up to par.

You would be reporting to the Marketing & Outreach Manager.


Ideal Candidate

  • Considerable relevant experience in project management & big events
  • Familiarity with the startup ecosystem is a plus
  • Strong working knowledge of PM & communication tools such as Trello, Monday, slack, etc
  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multi-tasking skills
  • Effective problem-solving and negotiation skills
  • Strong knowledge of data gathering tools and procedures
